How does it work?

Before you can book a car with Greenwheels, you need an account for Mijn NS Zakelijk. Also, the Greenwheels option must have been added to your NS-Business Card by yourself or your employer. Has this been successful? Then follow these steps:

Step 1: register with Greenwheels

Log in with your e-mail address (as cardholder) in Mijn NS Zakelijk and go to 'My NS-Business Card'.
Under 'Door-to-door services', click on 'Shared car'. This will take you to a new Greenwheels page. Fill in the form.
After registration, you will receive an e-mail from Greenwheels with the subject 'Confirmation of data'. Attached to this e-mail you will find a confirmation of the PIN code you entered.
Then you will receive another e-mail from Greenwheels with the subject 'Registration completed'. The two attachments to this e-mail contain a welcome message and instructions for renting a Greenwheels car with your NS-Business Card.
A new registration will be processed within 2 hours. You are now registered with Greenwheels and can reserve and use a car.

Step 2: book your car

You can book a car in 2 ways:

Through the Greenwheels-app: Download the Greenwheels app. Open the app, select the desired time and the available car. Confirm the reservation and hit the road.
In Mijn NS Zakelijk: Under 'Directly arrange' you can book a Greenwheels shared car. You will be linked to Greenwheels for this. Select a time plus the location and fill in the requested details.

Step 3: unlock your car

Download the Greenwheels app if you haven't already done so.
Open the app and log in.
Click on your upcoming reservation in the main screen.
Click on “start your ride.
Swipe up the Greenwheels logo to open the car.

Within 15 seconds, the car's automatic door lock should go off, allowing you to get in. Can't open it with the app? If so, call Greenwheels customer service.

What does it cost and what is the rental term?

The cars are divided into 3 categories: Budget, Compact and Premium
Through the Greenwheels site and app, you can filter by the different types of cars.
You can rent a Greenwheels car for up to 48 hours using your NS-Business Card.
