Legacy icons
These are icons found in base/_icons.scss. This file configures the available icons via for example the class .icon--train.
It is mandatory to provide a colour class or the icon won't show - like .icon--nsBlue for most. Some icons are only available in certain colours, like windmill with .icon--nsGreenOnGrey7. Two of them - Negen and OVchipkaart - are only in black, Chat and Play only white ;-)
This is how icons get generated
Icons configured inbase/_icons.scss will be used by shared setup/_iconfactory.scss to generate background images as inline CSS. For each colour configured an icon with modifier classes will be made. This means that if you would configure all colours for an icon, you'll get a rather large CSS file.If the icon is not available as an SVG in NSDesign Shared, it won't work.
