How to book a Check shared scooter
- Open the NS app and go to Nearby.
- Check the map to see if there is an electric shared scooter near you.
- Click on an electric shared scooter and book it via the Check app.
You will now see the walking route from your current location to the electric shared scooter. You have 10 minutes to get to the scooter.

You can rent a shared scooter starting from 33 cents per minute, with a starting rate from 75 cents. Pausing costs 10 cents per minute.

Do I need a driving license?
Yes, to ride an electric scooter you need a driving license for motorbikes (type A) and / or cars (type B) or a moped licence. You also have to be above the age of 18 to rent a scooter. Before you start your first trip, upload your driving license in the Check app.

Do I need to wear a helmet?
Yes, it is mandatory to wear a helmet on all scooters. In every scooter you will find two helmets and hair nets in the top case. Of course you can also use your own helmet.
