Crowding indicator
The crowding indicator in our NS app shows you the number of people you can expect on a specific train. This is represented using 1, 2 or 3 figures.
You can view the expected traffic of your train in the Travel Planner. This way you can see whether a train is less crowded sooner or later, making your journey more pleasant.
By showing 1, 2 or 3 figures, the app indicates how crowded a train is expected to be:
1 green figure: It's quiet. There are enough seats available.
2 orange figures: It is moderately busy. There are still some seats available.
3 red figures: It's busy. Seats may not be available.
