Region Subscription

With the Regio Subscription you can travel unlimitedly in the province of South Holland for a fixed amount within the zones selected by you on the lines of Arriva, Connexxion, HTM, HTMbuzz, RET and R-net.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to combine the Regio Subscription with Traject Vrij, NS Flex or a class change.

A boarding rate of 10 euros applies to trips with the Regio Subscription at R-net. Therefore, make sure you have at least 10 euros on your OV chip card.

In specific cases it is possible to get a discount on the Regio Subscription. This discount is 34%.

Reduction beneficiaries are:

• Children (4 to 11 years old), young people (12 to 18 years old) and the elderly (65+).
• Students with a Student Travel Product who travel outside the time of their student travel entitlement.

You can also check in and out for your trip with the Regional Subscription. But have you checked in on the R-net route Alphen aan den Rijn - Gouda? Then you do not have to check in again when you transfer to NS. The same applies the other way around: if you have already checked in with NS, you do not have to do this again for the R-net trains. When transferring to a bus, tram, metro or one of the other train companies, you will have to check in and out again.
