Digital Services Act (DSA)
The Digital Services Act also applies to the NS Community and the NS app (offering shared mobility modalities).
Certified dispute resolution committee
NS may take action against content or an account it believes to be in violation of the law or its terms and conditions. In the event that NS decides not to take action after a report of possibly illegal content and the reporter disagrees with this decision, we will refer the reporter to a dispute resolution committee that is yet to be set up. This committee will preside over complaints relevant to the Digital Services Act. No certified dispute resolution committee has been set up at this time.
User count (transparency).
- The NS Community is estimated to have 120,000 active monthly users.*
- The shared mobility modalities offered in the NS app are estimated to have 6,000 active monthly users.*
These estimates are based on the data as it is currently known to NS. NS is required to show these estimates under the Digital Services Act and may not use them for any other purposes. The method for calculating the average number of active monthly users is yet to be crystallised in an upcoming publication from the European Commission. The above estimates may be updated as a result of this publication.
* The DSA defines "service users" as "a natural or legal person using the relevant intermediary service, particularly to obtain or provide access to information."
