Travelling with the OV-chipkaart is easier than it seems. The first few steps can be a bit confusing, however, but we can help you with that.
Activating your OV-chipkaart and topping up your balance
The first steps are the activation of your card and loading its balance. You do this at the NS Ticket Machines at the station. You can always ask one of our staff for help if necessary. Service staff are available every day from 9:00 to 18:00 at the following stations:
