Changing at Sloterdijk station
The access gates at Sloterdijk have been closed for some time now. If this meant that you had to check out and in again during your journey, you can ask for any extra that you paid to be refunded.
If you have to change at Sloterdijk station, you may find that the access gates between platforms are closed. To continue travelling, you then check out and back in again. This could cost you extra, because the system then charges you for the route actually taken instead of the shortest route. You can avoid this by taking the pedestrian diversion.
Pedestrian diversion
If you want to change trains: you can often follow a pedestrian diversion so that you do not go through any access gates. You will then not pay too much.
From platforms 3/4 to 5/6/7/8 and vice versa: you can go via the station concourse and platforms 11/12.
From platforms 3/4 to 11/12 and vice versa: you can go via the station concourse.
From platforms 5/6 to 7/8 and vice versa: you can go via the station concourse.
From platforms 5/6/7/8 to 11/12 and vice versa: you can go via the station concourse.
